"Of all the denim-clad power trios spawned in the wake of Cream and the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Smile were among the most historically important. This was not necessarily because of their musical innovation or their unforgettable melodies, but because they were the immediate precursor to one of the world's most successful bands ever."

UPDATE 23 November 2005
Long time no update - eh? Well, that's about to change!
I am planning on updating this website VERY FREQUENTLY (hopefully at least once a day) with something new -- to make things a bit more interesting...it's a pitty that it's taken THIS long, but I make no excuses.
I will make a note of any updates on this page.
Added: Front/Back Cover scans AND inner pages from the Royal Albert Hall programme - thanks to Richard Thompson for this!

More soon....! Thanks for stopping by - A!

Hi all ! So what do you think?
A tremendous and heart-felt thank you must go out to a small number of individuals who have assisted me throughout the creation of this website. While it might have been a little long of a wait for some, I will say that this site would not have been launched if not for the help of these individuals. I hope it's worth it.
First and foremost, I MUST extend a heartfelt thanks to Tim Staffell. Thank you, my friend. Your contributions to this project have been truly invaluable. Your album aMIGO is amazing and everyone who visits this website should buy a copy of your album. Trust me - it's fantastic!
[click here] to visit Tim's website and to buy a copy of aMIGO!!
Please refer to the credits section of this website for a complete listing of those persons instrumental in the development of this website.
Other than that - expect a few edits and tweaks along the way. But in the mean time - enjoy!
...For what it's worth
